Refunds & Purchasing

Can I get a refund on e-books or courses? +

Generally, no. Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final once you have started accessing the materials.

When does "Access" begin? Access is considered to have begun the moment you complete checkout, redeem a code, or successfully load the content in your account.

EU/UK Customers: By requesting immediate access during checkout, you agree to waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.

I bought a few single books earlier. How do I upgrade to the full Bundle? +

We offer a flexible "Complete Your Set" option with no time limit. If you decide to upgrade to a Bundle that includes books you already own, we compare the Current Bundle Price vs. the Total Amount You Paid for the single titles:

  • Top-Up: If you paid less than the Bundle price, you simply pay the difference to upgrade.
  • Refund/Credit: If you have already paid more for the single titles than the current Bundle price, we will refund the difference so you don't pay extra.

Note for Amazon / Google / External Buyers: If you purchased on a third-party platform, we cannot issue cash refunds. However, please contact support with your receipt — we can manually apply a Store Credit to reduce the Bundle price (down to $0 if applicable).

I just bought separate books and realized the Bundle is cheaper. Can I get the difference back? +

Yes. If you purchased multiple single titles on our site within a 30-day period and the total cost exceeded the price of the corresponding Bundle, you are eligible for a Price Difference Refund.

Example: You bought Book A ($60) and Book B ($70) separately. Total paid: $130. The Bundle price is $120. Since $130 > $120, we will refund you the $10 difference.

The book I bought yesterday is now on sale. Can I get a refund for the price drop? +

No, we do not offer price adjustments for sales. However, your money is not wasted — the full amount you paid is effectively stored as "Upgrade Credit." If you decide to purchase the Bundle in the future, every cent you paid will be deducted from the upgrade cost.

I purchased via Amazon / Google Play / Substack. Can you refund me? +

No. If you purchased through a third-party platform, that transaction is governed by their refund policy. You must contact their support team directly. We cannot process refunds for transactions made outside of ichingstream.com.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time? +

Yes. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time via your Account Settings. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

Note: Subscription fees are non-refundable once the renewal period has started and access is active.

What if I was charged twice by mistake? +

If you experience a technical error resulting in a duplicate charge for the same order, please contact us immediately at contact@ichingstream.com. We will verify the transaction and refund the duplicate payment.

Access, Usage & Account

Can I share my account with a friend?

No. Your account and purchased content are for your personal use only. Sharing login credentials or access links violates our Terms of Purchase.

Security Note: Our system uses Personalized Watermarks and forensic identifiers. If your account is detected being shared or accessed from multiple unusual locations, it may be automatically suspended.

Can I take screenshots or record the course videos?

Please do not publicize screenshots of the book content. You are welcome to use short text quotes with citations for discussion. However, publicly posting screenshots of book pages or screen-recording courses is prohibited.

For Divination Examples: If you want to share a hexagram casting on social media or our Discord, please use a screenshot from our free Divination Simulator tool instead of the book pages.

Can I use the text to train my AI model?

No. We strictly prohibit the use of our content for AI training, machine learning, text and data mining (TDM), or vector indexing. We employ technical measures to signal this opt-out.

Why do I see my name or ID on the pages?

This is part of our Personalized Watermarking system. It helps protect the intellectual property of the authors and allows us to verify your legitimate ownership.

Important: Please do not attempt to remove or obscure these marks, as doing so may result in account suspension.

Community & Discounts

Do you offer Student Discounts?

Yes! We offer verified student discounts on selected products.

  • Eligibility: You must be an actively enrolled student at an accredited institution.
  • Verification: We may require a school email address or student ID for verification.

Note: Student accounts receive the exact same features and updates as standard accounts.

How do I join the Discord Community?

Some of our courses and bundles come with access to our exclusive Discord community.

Rules: Our community is for educational discussion. We have a strict policy against harassment, hate speech, or off-topic sales.

Case Studies: If you share a divination case in the community, you agree that we may curate or edit it for teaching purposes (anonymously).

I bought a "Lucky Wallpaper." Can I use it for my business logo?

No. The AI "Lucky Wallpapers" are licensed for personal use only (e.g., phone/desktop background or a personal print). You may not use them for commercial purposes, NFTs, logos, or resale.
